OWNER/ BREWER/ PARTNER
This brewery started as Bobby's dream and eventually became a reality on Feb 2nd, 2020 (Groundhog Day, but purely by coincidence). When it all started the location was a hollow white shell with no walls. Bobby worked around the clock building out the brewery and taproom area, along with the homebrew supply store. Bobby started as homebrewer and worked his way up to creating the location and the beer that he wanted to share with the world.
Several hundred batches of beer later, Ball Brewing exists as you see it today (And definitely not without the help of everyone listed on this page and many others). After feverishly brewing around the clock on the original tiny one barrel brewing system trying to keep beer in stock for the taproom, the team has graduated and installed (thanks to many people) it's new 10 barrel brewing system. With his amazing partner, and the team they have in place, Ball Brewing looks forward to continuing to provide people with quality beer and top notch service while growing and being able to continue to reach out to more amazing customers.

Kirstie is our glue that holds everything together. If we have a great event, great social media, great customer base, or anything that comes off making the brewery look good; you can pretty much rest assured that Kirstie did it or had a hand in it. Kirstie is the person serving beer to customers and simultaneously behind the scenes making sure things continue to run smoothly. Despite her intense schedule running her foundation and many other obligations, she takes the time to ensure that everything going on up front and behind the scenes goes off without a hitch.
If you haven't had the opportunity to meet Kirstie yet, then we will let you know that you're in for a rare treat. Kirstie is a Marine Corp veteran which is amazing in it's own right, but has gone on to do so much more than most people could imagine. Currently working on finishing her 7 summits, she holds 3 master's degrees, is working on her PHD, manages her own foundation, and several other businesses, all while also devoting her time to ensure that everything runs smoothly at the brewery. She is a truly amazing individual.
Clark (originally a Colorado native) and Bobby initially met competing against each other in homebrew competitions in Florida. It didn't take long before their rivalry turned into a lifelong friendship. After joining forces and brewing together as homebrewers, Clark and his wife Vicki retired from the Fire dept. as firefighter/ paramedics last summer and moved back to Colorado where Clark grew immediately dove in head first to help Bobby and the entire team at Ball Brewing as an assistant brewer and quickly asserted his skills and brewing expertise that won him many awards as a homebrewer, to become the most valuable asset in the brewhouse, handling brew days, and all other day to day duties involved in the back of house. Ball Brewing wouldn't be able to continue to produce the caliber and quality of beer that our customers have come to expect if it wasn't for Clark's hard work and devotion. Many of our regular customers have also had the opportunity to enjoy chatting with Clark while he occasionally pours beer and covers the taproom when he's not working feverishly in the back
Andrew came to us from San Diego. We were fortunate to receive him as a transplant and friend of Kirstie, who managed to convince him to become part of the team at Ball Brewing. Andrew is formerly active duty Marine and is a fanatic for craft beer. Being from SoCal, he has exhaustingly spent his time sampling beer from one of the largest microbrew markets in the world, in addition to trying beers from all around the globe. Andrew is continuously finding and learning about all of the things that this amazing area has to offer, and is regularly spending his free time exploring and hiking and taking in the outdoors with his wife and son and their newborn baby. You can regularly find him pouring beer behind the bar and engaging in conversation with our customers. If Andrew is there you can bet that his dog Blue is there as well by his side. His kind and outgoing personality will keep you coming back time and again. His hard work and can do attitude makes him a pleasure to have as part of our team.
BEERTENDER/ BREWERY ASSISTANT/ OPERATIONS
Chad is a recent and very welcomed addition to the Ball Brewing family. Over the last year, Chad has been helping brew beer in the back in his spare time to help out and learn more about the craft for fun, all while still working another job. We recently were fortunate enough to be able to add him as a full time employee to our team. Chad brought with him former brewery experience from his time in Alaska, along with his bar management experience, and retail sales of craft beer. He is the perfect bridge between being able to help with anything in the brewery, and the great personality to be up front serving our customers. He is a die hard Cubs fan (don't hold that against him there are a few of us here), and holds a wealth of knowledge of craft beer not just locally, but worldwide. If you find yourself in the taproom during one of Chad's shifts you can expect great service, great answers to any questions you may have, and great music to be playing.
What can we say about Mikey? Well for one, Mikey is a genius. Aside from that, he is also a damn hard worker, and a soon to be father (who we all know will be nothing short of amazing at) Mikey and his wife defected from the front range, from their high profile jobs, looking for something more. And we are glad that they found it and that we found them. Actually (in full disclosure) Kirstie found Mikey working as a snowboard instructor during one of her foundation clinics and had the foresight to realize that we needed him to become part of our team. Since then, life has become much easier for everyone at the brewery. Mikey was a natural fit from the day he walked in the door. As a guest at the brewery, if Mikey is working you can expect to meet one of the nicest, most easy going individuals that will also provide first class customer service., while also possibly wearing a t-shirt that has a weird house cat on it. (I had to put that in Mikey, but we do love your shirts).
